Due to the restoration workings at the Mausoleo di Augusto, the Open Air Museum has now moved temporarily in Via di Monte Brianzo near the Napoleonic Museum. It’s not so far from the old location, here a video (in italian) where he shows us the new location.

Advanced museum system

In our last visit we discovered that the Open air museum changed his name into “Advanced museum system” . Fausto says that there are too many open air museums, this is an advanced one.
He also explained that this is not a definitive change: to get back the old “Open air museum” he just needs to twist the plaque.
